That’s right: I decided to switch to Dutch – my native language – from now. I suppose you are a bit disappointed? What can I say? If there’s one thing I learned in life it’s that you cannot please everyone.
Why switch?
Starting this blog was one of the best decisions ever. It was the ideal outlet during an unsteady phase of my life. Besides, thanks to NoMoreMovies I (re)discovered my passion for writing and photography.
Now I feel I am ready for the next chapter.

… for making December the most successful month for Nomoremovies. Now that 2016 lies behind us, it’s time to reflect on the first six months of my little blog project.
Interested in some facts and figures? Lucky you! From the number of blog visitors to the number of views on YouTube… it’s all here… no secrets! I also want to thank you – my dear readers – for your early support. Putting yourself “out there” can be a bit intimidating, I consider myself lucky for getting nothing but love, compliments and encouraging words in return.
And in all honesty, we are only getting warmed up for 2017! 😉

What do YOU do with small change?
I’m talking about coins of 1, 2 and 5 euro cents. Whenever you pay with cash, they just keep on piling up. Do you hang on to them, hoping they will come in handy when buying bread from a vending machine? Mind you, even those refuse the smaller coins.
Most likely you are like me and Sofie and keep them in a piggy bank, a box or a “decorative” bottle, assured that one day you will find a good use for them.
Well, I’m here to tell you that day has come! We found the PERFECT use for them, read on!

In essence I’m a dreamer who finds joy in capturing beautiful moments. Our magnificent world never seizes to amaze… The past few weeks I have been posting my favorite #latergrams on Instagram. I hope you enjoy viewing my snapshots as much as I enjoyed making them.

I assume Helsinki is the most densely populated area of Finland, but even here the streets are nowhere as crowded as in London, Brussels or Firenze to name a few. This may have something to do with the temperature but I have to keep reminding myself it’s october already, so holiday season is over.
Still, even if there were a lot more Finns on the streets, I doubt you would notice. At first they seem silent and private but as soon as you talk to them, they tend to be very open, humorous and kind. In short, they are my kind of people.

Winter is coming. No, I’m not referring to a new season of Game of Thrones… I’m talking about how you can sense that the year is drawing to a close. Days are getting shorter and the air is getting chilly in the evening. In short: it’s Sofie’s favorite time of year to go out for a walk. Or a night walk for that matter!
